Kathy Romain is an engineer by degree and has worked as a business/computer consultant for eight years. Over the last 18 years she has served with several non-profit organizations in various capacities. She has been treasurer of Ballet Excelsior of Houston since January, 2006 and has a heart for seeing Jesus glorified.

Pastor James Polnick graduated from Berean Bible College, and is an ordained minister of the Assembly of God church, and serves as the District Fine Arts Co-ordinator for Houston. He has been the Minister of Fine Arts since 1982 with the Spring First Assemble of God, and annually produces a large outdoor Christmas musical extravaganza for the general public at Old Town Spring: and is now pioneering a new church in Magnolia, TX (Lifepoint Church).

Brenda White BMus: Music Theory and Composition (Sam Houston State University). Ms White currently serves as Music Director at Lindale Assembly, Houston. She writes, records and produces Christian musical theatre in Kingwood, Texas at The Nathaniel Center; Ms. White's newest endeavor is to serve with the national organization, Christian Youth Theater, as Area Supervisor for the Kingwood; Since 1970, she has also served as Music Director in various Houston area churches; from 1980-1984, she was the Fine Arts Festival Coordinator for South Texas Assemblies of God District; and from 1984-2005 developed and directed Fine Arts Camp, a summer arts program for teens; from 1994-2005, Ms. White developed a nine-month Academic/Arts program to serve high-school age students at Houston Arts Academy.


Sonja Staines | Artistic Director for Ballet Excelsior of Houston. Ms. Staines was the founder of Sonshine Theatre Company in 1996, and instrumental in the commencement of Ballet Excelsior of Houston as a subsidiary in 2002. She also functions as President and organizes regular international mission trips for the company. Her involvement in the performing arts spans over three decades, starting in Australia. She has produced musicals, variety shows, and ballets in Australia, Canada and the USA. Ms. Staines is also committed to dance education and co-author and now examines the Sonshine Christian Ballet syllabus, (currently being taught in the USA and internationally) and is the owner and director of Excelsior School of Dance.
