STAGE/PERFORMANCE SPACE

  1. Minimum 35’x30’ dance area, upon which we will tape down our portable Marlie style dance floor with cloth gaffers tape.

  2. Access to broom, mop and water (we will need to mop the dance floor before the performance).

  3. Stage area lighting capabilities.

  4. Dance/rehearsal space available. 

  5. Access to electricity for our CD player for class and rehearsal.

  6. The Company must have exclusive use of the theatre, dressing rooms and backstage area while during any planned residency.

  7. If applicable, the theatre or local presenter will need to provide skilled theatrical stagehands to facilitate the loading in, rehearsal, performance, and load out. Specific numbers of crew would be determined by the repertoire.


DRESSING ROOMS

  1. Facilities for a minimum of 8 dancers, with easy access to dance area.

  2. A lighted mirror and counter space for 8 dancers.

  3. A costume rack or some other method of hanging costumes.

  4. Sinks with hot and cold running water.

  5. Working toilets separated by gender and not shared with the public.


These are only the bare minimum requirements; certain repertoire, programming, and performance locations could also require lighting equipment, staging, or additional equipment.


AUDIO FOR PERFORMANCE

The requirements below are for recorded playback only.  

  1. A professional quality house mixing console.

  2. One CD Player.

  3. One announce mic positioned back stage right.

  4. A Stereo house PA system.

  5. A Stage Monitor system – at least 2 cabinets.

  6. All appropriate cables, connectors, amplifiers, and power supplies should be provided for the above.

  7. Adequate equalization, processing, and delay equipment for sound reinforcement in your facility.

  8. Adequate tables and masking should be provided for the mix position.

  9. Audio amps, P.A. stacks and the FOH desk should be positioned prior to the BE arrival.


COMMUNICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE  (where applicable)
A total of 4 headset stations as follows:

  1. 1- Stage Right

  2. 1- Sound Desk (Sound Operator)

  3. 1- Lights (Board Operator)

  4. 1- director

  5. Dressing room monitor and paging system for all rehearsals and performances.

  6. Show program and announcements must be audible in all dressing rooms.


CREW REQUIREMENTS AND SCHEDULE

A specific schedule and list of crew requirements will be discussed as part of the technical advance in order to facilitate an efficient load in and a successful performance.

 

  1. This schedule will be based on all electrics being hung, colored and rung out, the sound system in place and
    all soft goods hung according to the line set schedule prior to dancers arrival.

  2. Our staff will lay the Marlie floor.

  3. The same crew must be available for all rehearsals and show calls.

  4. This schedule is subject to change and mutual agreement.


Technical specifications are engagement specific and primarily dependent upon the repertoire

presented. Detailed riders beyond the above requirements accompany all individual bookings.
